English Country Dance at Gates Green. This club was set up originally to cater for the novice or inexperienced dancer or caller with many experienced dancers in the groups to help and explain the moves as the dances progress. Music here is normally from recordings. There are no club subscriptions here, just pay as you dance to help cover hall costs. It meets Monday evenings at Gates Green, West Wickham.
Orpington Folk Dance Club This club is better suited to those with a little more experience, and although beginners will be welcomed you may be better off joining in at Gates Green for a few weeks to get into the swing of things. Music is normally from recordings but there are a few theme nights where musicians play. Again there is a pay as you dance policy, however these costs are reduced if you pay a small annual membership fee. The club meets Wednesday evenings in Orpington
